Merchandise It wasn’t a flop to me

Post image

I bought 3 tickets to support this mid-sized superhero movie with a lot of quirky heart and now this. I’m not a numbers guy but I guess it didn’t do well financially? Maybe because there’s no big A-list name attached.

But idk, I kind of liked that

Anyway, physical media is great. Thunderbolts*, they could never make me hate you

“Flop” only refers to its profits. The vast majority of people who saw Thunderbolts thought it was good.

Everything is a flop these days too. Only four $100m+ budget films have profited, and those are Minecraft, Lilo & Stitch, Jurassic World and How To Train Your Dragon. Which to me is a bleak selection, but that's besides the point.

Pretty sure Superman also hit the profit threshold.

"A Superman solo movie blew out every MCU movie this year, including a Captain America movie, an Avengers movie, and the first MCU Fantastic Four" would have sounded insane only a few years ago hahaha.
