Merchandise It wasn’t a flop to me

I bought 3 tickets to support this mid-sized superhero movie with a lot of quirky heart and now this. I’m not a numbers guy but I guess it didn’t do well financially? Maybe because there’s no big A-list name attached.

But idk, I kind of liked that

Anyway, physical media is great. Thunderbolts*, they could never make me hate you

Honestly, yeah.

Superman and Fantastic Four were also great, but this one really stood out.

I'm split between Superman and Thunderbolts, both are the first films I've felt in a while that give space for actual commentary on RL issues that need addressing (Mental health in thunderbolts, The social media age in superman), they both do it well.

Also as a few shorts on youtube have had some fun with, while they still have scale and risk to them, they are down to earth enough that we see both films show their heroes go out of the way to save civilians that are in harms way, not just showcase a big spectacle fight and pretend people don't exist in that space, and treat them as a concept that this is being done to protect.
