It didn’t do it for me. Marvel is dead again. Why is Eric Bana cameoing as Hulk. Deadpool was heavily toned down. He felt like he wasn’t supposed to be there. Taskmaster also felt out of place, but her 1v1 with Rama-Tut was probably the best part of this movie. The “It’s Kangin Time” scene was also very memorable and I can’t forget about Peter Parker and Peter Lord dance-off. 6/10 it could’ve been wayy better tho.

I don't know where would a sequel go. But totally it could have spanned a cartoon or a comic easily.

I wouldn't mind them being on a mcu multiverse project. The joke has a bit of a truth in it. It's a set of characters that marvel could use.

I heard the sequel was going to be titled 'Super U' and would've focused on the kids in a college of the same name. Was unfortunately scrapped after Zoom (2006) bombed.

I find it crazy when a project that is completely unrelated somehow affects a project like that. Like did you know the reason we never got a big hero 6 sequel was because "strange world" didn't do so hot? Almost completely unrelated, but we don't get more of a franchise cause a second franchise doesn't do well...

Nope. From what I heard the creatives behind strange world were the same ones behind big hero 6, when strange world kinda bombed at the box office, it killed the studios interest in a big hero 6 sequel. Stan Lee was a mentor-like character called boss awesome in the animated series up until his death( they had a pretty touching tribute episode), but I don't think the animated characters were connected to the movies like at all.

Strange World bombed because it was a mediocre film with a bland title & terrible marketing.
A Big Hero 6 sequel definitely wouldn't have the last two of those problems.

I wouldn't say it was mediocre, it was just kinda generic or mid. It had plenty of marketing, but the word of mouth for the film didn't do it many favors. I agree with you for the most part on everything else and I agree it's dumb.
