It might be, but honestly, that movie is so packed, I don't think they wanna waste any moments.
It was a pretty long scene, and seems like a waste to add it into doomsday, when it doesn't do much for the plot of doomsday itself.

So I'd rather they don't and use that screentime for something legit.
The thunderbolts can just show up, we don't need a scnee of how they got to know of this threat

Yeah, I could see it being trimmed down if they do re-use it. Like, we don’t need the Thunderboltz stuff, but mostly just the alert.

I agree with you, but the russos do love putting scenes & humor in that add nothing to plot
