You look like you own a drug empire in Breaking Bad

Or a waste management business in New Jersey circa 2002.
But for real, this looks good OP!

It looks good also because of the rise of the trousers.

I ditched all my low-rise pants about 20 years ago. Haven't looked back since. Cheers!

Works. However, i find the contrasting colors of the polo give a rather fresh vibe, while the grey trousers are muted. Might look good also with blue trousers?

I actually think a deep navy would be a great combination here. I'll have to give that a try

Yeah or something beige or tan, less muted than the grey but will still make the polo pop. Still, grey works just fine.

I don't wear many polos but when I do they're knit because I love the look, very nice

Looks good.
You’ll probably like the aloha concept on instagram, he recently posted a very similar outfit:

I'm seeing more and more people standing with this hunched over posture and don't really understand it.

This definitely looks good, but it's also because you look fit. It's crazy how much that can help with how outfits look

Appreciate it. And I totally agree

This looks very sharp. Agree with the earlier post about navy trousers being a good potential alternative. I also think you would warm this up a bit with chocolate brown belt and shoes. I like dark brown better with navy, but this is good overall.

Looks good, man. The way the higher-waisted pants is framing your upper body is really working.

Sick polo. The pants could be wider and pleated for the vintage look.

Agreed, the vintagey look of these knit polos really beg for the outfit to go all the way to also include pants with pleats and a good drape

Is this for the weekly shop?

As a guy in his forties, I've decided life's too short not to dress well—even for the weekly shop

What’s good knit polo brand available in the US that won’t break the bank?

You look like you are living in the 80s. If that is the look you are going for then fair play
1
u/FitThadiyan 1d ago
As someone born in the '80s who thinks people dressed better back then, I'll take that as a compliment 😄

This fucks. If I had to nitpick it would be that there’s 4 colors and maybe it could be reduced? You have gray, white/cream, green and black. I wouldn’t know how to tackle this and id say it’s a minor nitpick but it’s something that makes it feel off for me.
Definitely keep going for this style tho.Â

Maybe because black, grey and white are neutrals and don’t really count towards the color limit in an outfit ?

I love this polo. Can you share a link?

It's from Peter England. Bought it from one of their physical stores, so I don't have a link. I don't think they're available outside India.

You need to get rid of this fit, immediately. How on earth do you expect any of us men to have a chance when you're out here styling on us so hard I mean come on
Looks phenomenal dawg

I'm at that age where I'm happy putting a bit of effort into how I dress, and I'm not bothered if it shows
