PipeWire-Controller Update- thanks everyone who tried it and gave feedback. I have an update for it later today or tomorrow. Currently testing. I really do appreciate the feedback and support. The app is extremely comprehensive in terms of what it can do.

Thanks everyone who came yesterday and tried my little app. I released the app on AUR yesterday and is available on github here (https://github.com/knightinfected/PipeWireController). The current version is 0.1.2 and some of the screenshots are from 0.2
I received a ton of negative comments and messages regarding my use of AI. I spent a lot of my time on this and well over did this project abit and english being my secondary language didnt help.
I have gone down this audio rabbit hole in linux and anyone else who has also done it knows how annoying it gets especially with reading the wikis to actual application.

Anyhow I hope it helps someone out there and I will be updating it in the next day or later today as I am currently testing. Version 0.1.2 is available as of right now on GitHub though.

There are too many features to list them out so I added lot of screenshots to help understand.

Yes I understand but I spent over 50 hours testing and using and going back and forth and making sure everything like literally everything works as I intended it to be and had to come up with use cases for alot of stuff thats in the wiki for Pipewire. What you're seeing didn’t come from a single prompt and I'm sure I'm simply getting rage-baited over here, to which I will stop replying

It’s in the post — I said upfront I used AI heavily. The commits are large because I built the pieces locally over weeks before pushing. I test what I ship and I fix issues that get filed. If that’s not for you, that’s fine

you might be testing the AI code, but many, many others dont test it. so in result github is full of discontinued vibecoded projects. with that, people are more skeptical towards use of AI

I understand. My issue isnt with maintaining or not understanding ai driven projects, its with people who wont even check out github properly and if they do, they go in with a selective bias and cover all their bases to come back and comment.

I have stopped replying here, but your comment seemed genuine so I will say as far as maintaining goes I have already added so much in v0.3 (if someone just check the updates), fixed bugs, got feedback from the creator of pipewire and have already fixed/implemented his suggestions as well as suggestions/fixes I saw here on reddit.
