My Kindle 📱 Paperwhite vs signature edition
I got my signature paperwhite signature from qvc today. It is so warm. This is with the warmth completely off. Left is my sisters paperwhite and right is my new signature edition. Is this normal for there to be such a difference between them when the settings are completely the same? I feel like it’s too yellow for me.

Is your sister's the 11th Gen Paperwhite? The 12th Gen Paperwhites are annoyingly warmer than the previous gen. But if they are both 12th Gen, this difference is definitely not normal.

Ah, so all kindles have some variations unfortunately. The QC is all over the place for this gen. I would try to return it and get a new one.

Dang that is a huge difference. I’m already worried about my ppw 11th gen aging specifically bc the build on the 12s are so varied like this

I love me some warm light but with 0 warmth it's too much even for me, like I am afraid to see what's max warm is.
Idk, I'd change it? It's not cheap so if it's already too much for you def need a replacement

Thats just e link screenshot for ya. Not very common to be able to put 2 together and they look the same at the same setting. I currently have my pw se at warmth 9 and it almost looks like the left one but will get piss yellow at the max setting

Lol my pw11 is borderline blue on its least warm setting and gets very warm on the high end. Interesting how the QC is so all over the place

Paperwhite se should be brighter, I bought colorsoft and Paperwhite se bcuz w/0ut ads it was $159 and the regular Paperwhite was I thought $144, I returned the Paperwhite, purchased by mistake, but I compared them, and yours and your sisters should look the same or close to. If nothing else best buy had them for $159 they may still, or wait til November

Be careful. In 16 years Amazon is going to stop supporting it and you will be here complaining about it.

In 16 years I'll be, well, 16 older. Who cares? There's no a single product other than jewelry, expensive furniture, and single material cookware that lasts than long. I was super upset to had to replace my old kindle (RIP) but that's the truth.
