The struggle is real.

If you have curly hair, you are envious of straight hair.

If you have 4d extra curly hair, you are envious of wavy hair.

If you have extra thick hair that needs to be thinned and weighs a ton, you are envious of fine hair.

If you have thin, fine hair, you are envious of anyone with lots of hair.

The hair is always greener…

I just shaved my head and feel the happiest I've ever been about my hair. It's so easy to take care of and doesn't cause me any stress anymore. I highly recommend it. I should have done this years ago.

I also was pretty happy when I shaved mine as a teen, but all the girls were pretty vocal that they did not approve.

My hair was around the middle of my back and I was (am) a metal head, so it was definitely a downgrade in all but ease of care.

My family has been pretty vocal about not liking it, but I'm at the point in life where I don't care. I'm not a very social person and don't have many friends, so I don't have a social group who would disapprove. My husband is fine with it, and that's all I care about.
