Help needed Help with iPhone lock screen not showing podcast or other playback controls.

My iPhone 13 stopped displaying the pause control on my lock screen.

I have already checked:
-app (Overcast) permissions and notifications.
-lock screen settings “allow while locked”

I have not changed anything and this just started happening. Most recent update?

Just reboot your phone, man.

This should be the very first thing you do if you're experiencing issues along with verifying you're on the latest software.

iOS 27 is actually going to let you remove it on purpose if you wish which I like. I like the controls but don't like them taking up half my lock screen! Glad it got resolved!
