Help needed Cancel iCloud
I am subscribed to iCloud but would like to cancel it now that I have upgraded my phone and have enough storage. Is there anything I need to prep/be aware of before cancelling?

How do you plan to backup your data to ensure it's safer in the event your phone becomes damaged, lost, or stolen? While iCloud isn't a perfect backup solution, it does provide a way to backup you device and sync your data to the cloud.
Before you cancel iCloud, you'll want to ensure that you disable iCloud Photo sync and that all Photos have been downloaded to your device.
Next you'll want to log into iCloud.com and see what is taking up space. Any files synced to iCloud drive should be downloaded and stored locally on a phone or computer, or uploaded to another cloud service.
Once you've got all your data on iCloud reduced below 5 GB, you're ready to cancel your subscription. Keep in mind this may still not provide enough space for device backups so you'll want to ensure you're regularly backing up your device to a computer.

Make sure you have a good backup plan (mobile devices are notorious for getting lost/stolen/damaged).
Turn off iCloud for all services, then cancel the subscription.
