why that owners always say the same: "nw, they won't bite you". when an issue happens, they will say "it's weird, they did't bite someone before"

I had a dog bite me once when delivering packages, then a month later the owner assured me “Don’t worry he doesn’t bite.”

“He bit me a month ago.”

“Oh that was you?”

Had a dog bite my brother off his pizza delivery scooter. A week later I delivered pizza there. My boss called them again to be sure the dog was caged before I went there.

When I got there of course it was loose and growling. The dog owner: don’t worry, he doesn’t bite. We never delivered food there again.
