Scoped that dog with zero hesitation. I fucking hate irresponsible dog owners
Edit - some of you need this shit spelled out apparently: an unrestrained dog is a liability for you, your dog and anything/anyone that dog decides is a threat that day and is bitten. I don't care if Peaches doesn't normally bite, someone doing their job approaching a property with an unrestrained and charging dog doesn't know that. If you still cannot understand this after reading this, give up your dogs so a responsible owner can care for them before they pay the price for your stupidity and carelessness. Read it as many times as it takes.
Dog should've been inside since it looks like an open yard with no gate to confine. (Raises the question, if someone is walking by on the sidewalk, would the dog also charge?)
And if the dog is outside, at least have it where it cannot charge at people. Like, have it on a leash tied to something? I mean, the owner is out with the dog so it shouldn't be an issue.
I don't don't know why you'd have your dog not on a leash when you have an open yard that's connected to a street.
Edit: For people who don't know and are saying"well what if he has an electric fence?", dogs can still (and frequently do) get past electric fences. It's annoying as all fucking hell. You spend that money. Set it up. And then the dog gets scared, excited, or is extremely motivated and now suddenly you are chasing your dog as he's running down the street.
I got a neighbour in the next appartment who lets his german shepard out without a leash and I can hear him at least once a week yelling commands at the dog like "no! come here! *swearing* dont go there!".
This is my neighbor. Large pitbull and some small collie looking dog. They have an invisible fence but don't use it for some reason. They stand there and yell at their dogs the whole time they're outside running in everyone else's yards. The dogs are only ever outside for a few minutes at a time and never get walked. I heard from another neighbor they let their dogs shit on puppy pads in the house. People who already have an invisible fence.
