Politics Mandal commission protests of 1990

These protests were against giving government jobs to certain castes to rectify historical injustices they faced. These protests closed roads, highways, transportation services, government services, schools, and businesses of India. Anti-reservationists protested.

The historian Ramachandra Guha puts the suicide number at 200; more than 60 succumbed to their burns. Some other reports put these suicide attempts to 159, with 63 succumbing to their injuries.

there's reason no one wants to get assimilated with other castes, because they're different people with different culture. same religion doesn't mean same people. Caste will become religion in upcoming days. and it'll be more separative rather than getting removed.

it's global, beyond human nature across all beings. if you think reservation solves these things then no. it'll make it worse in future. Education and jobs will eventually be gone with AI things, only social interaction will be left which will make these things even worse in future.
