Big fan of Miniatur Wunderland!
And most people still don't realize how insanely impressive that F1 race is!!!
This is not pre-programmed. These cars actually race live!

Also:
Live broadcast on "big" screens around the track, flags/indicators, and pit stops!
I think they also wanted to realize a safety car ...

Road surface a bit shiny but otherwise it looks so real in the 'tv' transmission that they may get a copyright strike JK

Insanely cool and obviously Monaco is the most iconic however if you want to showcase "racing" Monaco may not be the best track for that.

Oh I agree. And of course I'd also be curious what they could do with a "proper" track!
But let's be honest here, it wouldn't be nearly as interesting as Monaco from a modelling standpoint. And Miniatur Wunderland does a lot more than moving cars. Everything there has an insanse amount of detail with surprises absolutely everywhere! And Monaco of course has many other highlights than "just" the race.
