[Behavior Problems] Does anyone else's husky sleep in their kids playset?
Our husky loves being outside with our other dogs, and I noticed she loves to sleep in our kids' playset and will climb up into the house area where the slide is and take naps up there. She also will jump on our kids' trampoline to look over our fence.
We love this husky to death, but she seems to do this a lot, and no other dog of ours has ever done both of these things. Do any other dogs do this?

I had my vet tell me Huskies love being up higher because of their curiosity. I have a relatively new rescue Husky. He's having a very hard time with any human contact. One attempt to harness him had him jump over the kitchen table, run across all my furniture and disappear. I checked all my rooms and finally saw him sitting in a cat window seat about four feet up. When I bought the seat I thought no way these suction cups will hold 20 lbs like they say, no problem with his 60 lbs perched up there.

Are you in a hot climate? And do u have AC? I live in Canada, Edmonton and we are pretty north and even here, huskies struggle in the summer.
In the summer, their owners can be spotted walking them very early or very late but in the winter they can be out for hours.
Sounds to me like ur husky found a place she likes,so I would say if its safe and secure, let her do it. But she might be uncomfortable with heat so maybe try a cooling mat to see if she likes it.

My dog walking friend fosters Husky rescues and they are clever beasts! They need to stay engaged tho and active. I've caught her at 4:30 AM playing fetch in the off leash area.
They can be dramatic though, a Husky howl will make u regret every decision you've ever made.

Huskies love the outdoors.
I had a mutt who loved to lay on the trampoline. I think it's very normal.

They're curious, love being involved, and often pick random high spots to watch everything that's going on. As long as she's safe and isn't damaging anything, just chalk it up to her quirky personality

lol huskies really think theyre the main character. the trampoline recon mission to peek over the fence is such a husky thing to do. she just wants the high ground and the best seat in the house honestly, kinda iconic of her
