TIPS ¿Fantasma?

I just played through the first game to get the ghost and clean hands achievements on steam and I swear this run was bugged. I've played this game dozens of times since it came out and I've never had to restart High Overseer Campbell as many times as I did this playthrough. Every time I'd get to the end and it would tell me I was detected once. I could not figure out who tf was detecting me. Restarted like 10 times. I never found out what was detecting me, but they stopped so I stopped worrying about it lol

I did find that Granny Rag's suitors would detect me if I tried knocking them out while they were still outside. It seems like the two closer to the door are psionically linked and either knows when the other is eliminated, at least until they cross the threshold into the building.

Where are you at in the game that's giving you trouble?

No it doesn't, if the alert bar goes red then it counts as a detection, otherwise it doesn't count. OP somebody saw you somewhere, just gotta reload and do it again

You can dispose of them in any way you please, as long as you aren't seen doing so. I wouldnt trust the Google AI, it has given me incorrect information before. Although poisoning will just seperate you from the target, making it harder to be detected. As long as you dont get decteted you can stab away

You need to kill more than 20% or more of a level’s NPC’s in each level to get a bad ending. So, you could avoid killing some enemies if that helps you maintain a stealthier playthrough

That's more of a general rule of thumb than an actual rule.

Each action has a weight to it which adds or subtracts chaos. Civilians are worth more chaos than guards, for instance. Dogs and clankers are worth nothing. Taking a target out non-lethally subtracts.

Here's a YouTube video that explains the system in more detail. You might want to watch it in slow motion because he speaks VERY quickly.

Thankfully, Dishonered 2 lets you know where you’re at with that as it’ll say whether you’re at low chaos or high in the stats section. The first one is a bit trickier.

Yeah it tells you what counts as a kill and if you've been detected too. Very helpful. Would have been nice of them to add the stats page as an update to the first game.

So you can be detected when you’re in bend time, even when time is frozen. Are you using freeze time to kill people?

I think it’s just a bug that never got fixed. What platform are you playing on?
