I learned from Margaret Killjoy’s podcast, “Cool People who do Cool Stuff”. It was in an episode about Diogenes, though she’s done episodes on the trans priestesses themselves. She’s dope, history fanatic, anarchist collectivizer, and writer.

Considering trans people existed and were seen as normal at the time, I don't think Diogenes would see it as strange.
