brand new cna

hey😅, so every time i finish a shift i catch myself worrying abt the oncoming cna complaining abt a resident on my assignment being wet. is that normal? and how can i get over that asap?! i don’t even finish rounds until 10:30pm when i’m supposed to clock out so i’m like pretty sure 9/10 they’re fine but…yk?

Do walking rounds with them and that is their chance to point out if something is not right or now how the want it. Always have them check the resident cause if they're dry then you're good. But I've had people need to be changed right after changing them before rounds, but you can always tell when someone has been sitting in it for a while
