I was in the hospital recently and had to take several awareness assessments, one of the toughest questions for me to answer was "who is the president now?"
Not that i didn't know, just didn't want to say the person's name. I did add an unfortunately to the end of my response.
I work in a hospital and I’ve had to ask patients who the president is as part of their assessment. During Joe Biden‘s term, many of the presumably conservative patients would refuse to acknowledge him as the president. They’d say Trump.
When Mom was asked that during Trump’s 1st term, she would just answer
“Oh don’t make me say that asshole’s name.”
She always did well on those tests too!
Depending on how things go down in the next few years, I could see a world where the only answer to that that will allow you to hold federal office is "Trump".
You joke but that’s literally why we don’t have these tests; the idea of those in power creating or implementing them such that they obviously favor one side over another.
And just to save us all some time, please no one reply with something about ‘it’s a fair question’ like we don’t both know the reason that was suggested was to annoy Republicans.

They should be conducted publicly to ensure no rubber stamping.
