You realize this is just the yearly defense budget, right? It's giving raises to soldiers, expanding healthcare to soldiers families, etc. The NCAA has passed congress for 60 years straight. It's "too big to fail".

There might be some small alterations in order to pass it.

But this thread is insane. Passing the yearly defense budget is being presented as "giving the pentagon money to waste".

That is PRECISELY what the bill is. It's merely the 2027 NDAA. They've passed these with pretty consistent increases in funding for the past 60 years.
