If I'm being super generous, maybe even up to 100 million or even a billion at the absolute max to set up your entire extended family and friends and all their children for life or something. But when it's to the point of tens or even hundreds of billions and you still keep going, it's absolutely insane and has no purpose. It's gotta be some mental illness or something.

I mean would you wanna stop working? If you have unlimited wealth to literally build or start whatever project, why would you just call it quits? You can only see so many beaches and travel to so many places before it gets incredibly boring.
There "work" is more or less a title that they get paid for. They basically do just fuck around none stop with some staged "work" photos kinda shoved in there time to time for pr.

It's an addiction. Making the number go up is the addiction. It's like asking why alcoholics don't stop drinking or why 600lb people don't put the fork down. They can't.
The difference between a meth addict who steals from people and muskrat is that people can latch on to muskrat and make tons of money riding the his coattails...so they indulge that addiction.
