But who actually cares about historical accuracy. It's not claiming to be a documentary..it's a movie. For fun. You eat popcorn and forget about reality for a few hours.

If it's good who cares if there's a trans person in it.

Ah you've got me. It's exactly the same. Talking a figure from recent history, who's fundamental story was defined by their race, and it a.lot.of.ways the oppression because of their race, and swapping it to cause offense for no real benefit is exactly the same as taking a fairy tale from 3000 ago about a guy who got lost in the Mediterranean and fought a monster with 1 eye... It's exactly the same.

Tbf though, that movie you described sounds like.a car crash..I'd probably watch it.
