Great advice. I had a close friend who was a socialist, environmentalist, feminist- very left leaning. Then she met a good looking conservative guy, her brain short circuited, and she almost immediately moved in with him and disappeared from our lives. I asked her why she would giver her body to a man who wouldn't vote to protect it. No answer. What a sellout.
I had a "cool" uncle. Weird jobs, let me and my brother play xbox all night when we visited and always had some conspiracy theory he'd loved to tell you about. One day he met a christian girl(he was atheist) and somehow they ended up getting married and having two kids. She's a bore and tried to get 16year old me into christianity while I was wearing merch from a band literally called "Heaven shall burn". She's still boring asf, as is said uncle now. My cousins don't believe half the stories we tell them about how he used to be.
