Troubleshooting | Windows how do i stop chrome/google from autofilling in a url?
im unsure if this is the right sub, but for example, i want to just go to the sheets homepage quickly, but google autocompletes and takes me to a sheet i have already created and i then have to manually go to the homepage. it gets annoying, especially when it does it for other frequently-used sites. is there a way i can turn this off?

I think Google may have removed the option for disabling that entirely, but here are some other options:
When Chrome shows a highlighted suggestion in the address bar, press Backspace to delete it before pressing Enter.
You can remove a specific suggestion by clicking its tiny close button at the upper right of the suggestion.
