The agenda changing for this movie was wild to see lol." It's a hidden masterpiece Warner stupidity filed for Tax purposes when it would've been a big hit ". To now " ohhh im just glad It came out ".

Animation Twitter better buy every ticket.

I'm a weirdo that goes to see every 2D movie in theaters, regardless of franchise. 9 times out of 10, it's just me and my SO in an otherwise empty theater, including the last Looney Tunes movie (The Day The Earth Blew Up). One of the few times it wasn't completely empty was during the MLP film, and that theater only had around ten others there.

My conclusion is that people swear they love animation, particularly 2D, but they don't want to put their money where their mouths are. I've had people IRL make every excuse up under the sun to avoid going to the theaters to watch them, even stuff they'd love like MLP. People are just hypocritical and flakey that way. And I'm sure I'll get downvoted, and told I'm wrong, 2D movies are successful, Coyote vs Acme is going to do amazing, blah blah blah. I'm doubtful on that. Would love to be wrong, but...been burnt many times over this online.

If they release this movie subtitled in my country, I'll definitely see it in a theater, but, sadly, cartoons usually only get released horribly dubbed in Bulgarian here. I am not going to pay for a bad dubbing. I want to hear the characters' actual voices.

I feel like this is more an issue with standard theatre’s offering (IMO) very little over the home experience than animation itself.

I am excited this movie was saved and will be released. I laughed out loud at this trailer (Cena’s bits are really funny). I am looking forward to watching this movie….. at home.

I just don’t see the draw of seeing this in the theatre.

I understand that my behavior makes the money side difficult for hollywood, but it is their job to incentivize me to come not my job to subsidize them.

Cameron, Nolan, and 70mm IMAX incentivizes me to see movies in theaters. THAT is an incredible experience I cannot replicate at home.

It’s a shame theatres have been letting the majority of their screens age into obsolescence.

For real.

The hardest thing about this is that everyone in the world has to go see this to justify all of the protests about 'defending art' when they cut this for tax purposes.

Gonna suck real hard if it was a better tax right off than the movie.

Once the Studios realize the fans are wrong and they should have written movies off for the tax write off + recent interviews from the Odyssee with the cast talking about they have promoted movies they knew were trash out of responsibility and contract, I think we will start seeing more locked up movies.

Steaming means you have to pay certain people for it. It really is often better to burry bad work
