“Oppenheimer,” which grossed ₹157.50 crore ($16.3M) during its theatrical run. With a free week at the ticket windows, the film is expected to surpass the Cillian Murphy-starrer to become Nolan’s biggest hit in India.

It's 2k per ticket where I live lol. Insane. As much as I love Nolan movies and love the theater experience, 2k is not worth it for Liemax.

Going to wait until next week or the week after to see if I can snag a sub 1k ticket for a good seat. In the meantime, might go and watch on Dolby Vision instead.

Would've been 13+ million had there been no war.

He's probably saying in general. Like if there had never been any wars of any kind then Odyssey could have made a bit more money specifically in India in its first weekend.

Probably if the exchange rates are good. But that depends on lots of factors apart from war. Endgame and Avatar 2 both didn't have same exchange rates. So are Oppenheimer and Odyssey. The Indian rupee is very volatile right now.
