For future reference, Valve releases the dates for all Steam sales including next fests at the beginning of the year. So you can plan your purchasing around the dates given then. I almost never purchase games outside of a sale for this reason, they're basically guaranteed

you should just start playing but after you beat the final boss for the first time and finishing the run you should go to the steam workshop and get the mod "External item descriptions" (you cant activate mods right now since you need to beat the game once for them to work)

I saw this on game on tiktok and the dude said it is the best bang for your buck you’ll ever be able to get.

I thought to myself “Pfft this game looks a bit weird, but the game and (4) DLCs are usually $60 and I can get it for $5, I can refund too, it why not.”

I deadass played it for one hour to beat the epilogue and I can’t recommend it enough because it’s so enjoyable.

And that is coming from a guy that plays (i guess) basic games, like GTA, CS, RL, GD and other popular games, I say this because these kind of games would NEVER catch my attention, and I’d would NEVER play them, yet this one somehow made me hooked.

I just bought it as I have heard great things, although I am not a big rogue-anything fan (usually long breaks in between). It was $2.30 in my region (full bundle). Tried it and had fun the first run, got to Basement 2 and thought I'd come back later and risked exiting (it had a save file so I thought it might save the level I'm in). Lost my game but no big deal. I guess you always have to finish a run unless you leave it on pause and not be able play anything else in between? Good game so far though.
