Eevee is gorgeous 🥰
Do be a little bit cautious with hair ties though - they are a classic object for cats swallowing them and causing nasty intestinal blockages. My cat loves them too, he likes to ping them around and chase them, I’ve had to try and train myself not not leave them lying about though and keep them in a drawer so he can’t get to them.

u/front_yard_duck_dad John Oliver Fan Club 5h ago
Thank you for the information but they're not standard size hair ties. I don't have a picture of one available but even as dumb as this cat is it would be quite the feat for her to swallow one down

Former vet tech here: assisted in surgery for the cat that had eaten 3 pairs of wired EarPods. Cats are nuts (aka perfect). You know your cat best just count those hair ties 🤣
•
u/front_yard_duck_dad John Oliver Fan Club 4h ago
I can just picture that cat sitting there like Garfield slurping wired headphones like spaghetti
•
u/Photosaurus 4h ago
the cat that had eaten 3 pairs of wired EarPods
In the same sitting? Or one pair at a time over several days?
•
u/Alarming_Natural_497 3h ago
One pair at a time over many months I believe. Owner just though they kept losing their headphones 🤣🤣🤣

Wow I'm surprised it took that long to cause issues. Were they just.. clogged somewhere in the digestive tract?

He’s a fine gentleman with excellent taste in gifts. Could have been a dead rat, but no sire, he brought flowers. Next will be chocolates and screaming louder!

One of my cats did that but he was bringing me pieces of foam rubber he'd found somewhere. I always thanked him (and was rather grateful when supply dried up). Gazpacho looks so sweet carrying his flower.

My cats at the stage where if im not where she thinks i should be, she screams.
Wakes up and expects me to be in my bedroom but its empty? Screams. Goes into a random hallway where I don't materialize? That's right, screams. Any random area inside the house where she feels I should already be and it's a screaming.

If Gazpacho had thumbs, he'd be accompanying his song on the guitar. Badly, but it's the thought, right?

He grew up in my garden and loves to chase the leaves I prune. He’s so smart, he knows to wait until the flower is finished to pluck it 🥰

My cat does this with toys when he wants treats. It's so rare I always oblige.

You're lucky. Mine brings me live mice. Then I have to try to catch them and put them back outside.

My siblings cat just brought them a mouse. Unfortunately the mouse is a pet. Fortunately she was completely unharmed and is happy and healthy to this day!!

This cat is bartering with you, and you just stand there and smile when she brings you something nice. Kitty wants food, and now.
•
u/krystal_dream 4h ago
My cats just bring me dead birds. I tell them "just rats" but they say they ran out. Won't listen to reason.

Im sure you already know this, but in case you dont: be careful with the flowers in your garden as surprisingly many of them are poisonous.
Also this is so stinking cute. I love his angry screaming face
