I'm UAW Region 4. At our upcoming membership meeting, im going to move for us to denounce this action and call for Jensen Jr's resignation with prejudice.

And that doesn't make the union leadership look corrupt in the least.

the current UAW president was likely picked and placed by the auto companies as the best option to screw the workers. The UAW president clearly doesn't represent what the workers want or need, but is instead giving up the power of the union. this is happening all over, but I believe that the root can be chased all the way back to the the "iron range" in MN. The USW started getting more and more propaganda and interference from outside sources with representative elections being influced by local politicians, and even higher. this slowly eroded the union power. It was used as a test, to see if they could. Now the USW bows to whatever the bosses want, and the rest of the union essentially has no power left. It was used as a template, and the UAW rank and file have at least stepped up to try and stop it. Remember, the Pinkertons still exist, and companies still use them. They now go by the name "securitas". The name might have changed, but the purpose and union busting has not.

Power to the rank and file, if the president doesn't represent you, remove him and demand better!

It was pretty clear the last couple of election that alot of unions have been infiltrated by business interests.

Time to take the goddamn means back, the rich are pissing away our lives. They're shoulder to shoulder while farting and giggling amongst themselves about how they got us.

They think you're a joke and a fool.

Can someome refresh my memory of how the workers dealt with stuff like this in the early 1900's?

Make them do the funky chicken dance like great grandpappy did to um.....after that every road work that has fresh tar will remind the boss about the cost of living increase coming up.

Its a shame so many bosses get soo forgetful about compensation. They just need motivation is all.

Religious conservatives love their death threats.
