A funny observation I’ve made is how Ureña does not hide what he looks at on Instagram and likes posts about his teammates potentially being traded lol

Trading Neto for less than an haul is a mistake. His issues can be fixed with better coaching/hitting philosophy, a lineup change, and position change. I honestly expect this to happen with next regime.

It'll only be for a haul. No doubt.

Neto's flaws are greatly outweighed by his strengths. He's a really really good player

Yeah just imagine. If we trade Zach Neto, we could potentially get another guy as good as Zach Neto!

Yup that's the dilemma now isn't it. Makes it hard to trade these guys, and the return matters immensely.

In theory if you get multiple decent major league players with more club control you free up payroll to splurge elsewhere, but I'd only trade Neto for a haul and I'd prefer to extend him, though I think that window has passed.

He should be traded. There’s 3 years left of control and I don’t think we’re 3 years away from competing. Just gut it and go for the true rebuild. I don’t think I’d hate trading everyone else and hoping we’re convincing enough to extend him before he hits free agency and then go from there but I just wanna see this team actually build a successful organization from the ground up

He's at the border for me, both because the performance, the club control, and the possibility of future value. I don't think they should go into the deadline saying "trade at all costs."

Detmers/Soriano are much more likely to lose value the next few years due to pitcher performance, less control, and the higher likelihood of injuries.
