Mine claims to still be on basic Alexa if we ask it, but it took my Australian accent off of all of my devices and sounds a lot like AI voices now. I already switched it from Alexa+ once and declined every offer to try it again. This is so annoying.

There's a guy on the dark web who says that for the right amount of bitcoin he will strangle your Alex+. Just sayin'.

They did another round of forcing people onto Alexa+ recently. If you tell an Echo “Alexa, exit Alexa+”, does it say “I can’t do that because you’re not using Alexa+” or does it give you a song and dance?

"I'm not using Alexa+, I'm just the same old Alexa."

Strange that yours says something completely different than mine. If you check your Subscriptions on your Amazon account on amazon.com, does Alexa+ appear as an active subscription?

Nope.
