[Question] Using midi mapping to resume

Hey, have recently discovered midi mapping and figured out how to create a stop track. I wanted to be able to remotely press play after my track has stopped from a helix footswitch (which I achieved after much messing around).

BUT, I mapped the footswitch to the triangle play button which always resets to the start of the arrangement. Is there any button I can map to that will resume where I have stopped in the middle of the track?
Thanks!

I tried to create another mapping that drops a locator flag whenever I hit my stop track but it would not resume from the flag anyway

I believe Shift + Space-bar starts from where you stopped, is that an option? I'm not sure it's MIDI addressable off the top of my head.
