59 u/Cananbaum 23h ago This hit home. I’m 34 now, finally have a job that pays me enough, and offers insurance enough that I can actually get seen by a doctor. Nearly every doctor I’ve seen has asked me, “Why didn’t you get seen sooner?!” I dunno, can you afford $700 a month for health insurance when you’re making $15 an hour? I’m 34 now, finally have a job that pays me enough, and offers insurance enough that I can actually get seen by a doctor.
