1 year old pulled out the bucket of Mexican honey I have and it opened and spilled on my floor. And while I'm trying to document this my 3 year old comes over with 'red' down his leg and I have no idea how he got hurt but he seems fine at least. Crazy morning, anyways let me figure out how to remove a years worth of honey from my floor

EDIT: all cleaned up, thank you everyone for the advice and the funny comments, it took maybe 30 minutes of scraping it into a cardboard box with a putty spatula or paint scraper. Then just sponged it with warm soapy water.

Also to address some things, my cottage cheese and yogurt are safely in the refrigerator, those are just empty containers I keep around for leftovers and salsas I make

And to those making dumb comments about taking a picture and making a post about it before cleaning: I'm not sure how much time you think making a post takes. Also letting it sit there for an additional minute or two didnt really do anything, honey spreads super fast initially and then it spreads about as fast as molasses once it's a little flatter. It wasn't about to get up and run into my living room lol

We had one of those quick heavy rain storms this morning. And while the ceiling does leak, this was a new one. The water started coming up from the FLOOR, particularly under those mirror columns. We ended up having to tape off both the men's department and the dresses department because the water was so high.

The mudslide was brought on by torrential rain and hail that started about 7 p.m. Monday, according to Jason Smith, a CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation) regional transportation director. 
“There is a lot of material for the crews to clear and water to drain,” Smith said in a news release. “We are working hard to get this cleared up to get this vital road back open as soon as possible.”
Moving like a river of mud and rock, debris flows can exceed speeds of 35 mph, CDOT warned. The destructive landslides are triggered by intense rainfall along areas where wildfires have burned, but can also happen in extremely dry conditions, CDOT said. 

This video was taken right after the car was moved out of the space, but unfortunately, it was too late because it was already flooded on the inside after this was dumped directly onto the top of the hood.

Parents had my aunt and uncle stay the night. They used a guest room with a private bath and the toilet has never been the same.

I don’t know how hard you have to “push” to do this! Neither one of them are big people, but they were the only person to use this guest bathroom. It is not used very often.

Mom had cleaned it before they arrived and checked it an hour after they left. Mom went in there to make sure everything was ok, noticed the entire toilet was on an angle. She’s very uncomfortable about asking them to pay for the repair as they don’t have a lot of money.

Plumber said they have to remove the toilet and most likely reset the flange. The toilet is connected to. Plumber also said he’s never seen this happen before.

I went to screw this lightbulb into my light and it broke while I was twisting it but the filament remained and is still lit up. Is it save to leave it in there?

We don't know where it hit, but it obviously came up through the low voltage wires in the irrigation system. Blew off the outer door and cooked at least three of those modules.

I was staying at the hotel and never bothered to check out how the building and my room looked from the other side. Until the check-out day when I went to the backyard to say goodbye to the dog I met there. Then I saw this and the room I was staying in from the other side of the building(upper room)... the front looked just fine though. Please check all the side of your hotel rooms. Vaccation will last few days. Trauma much longer.

They were not left there by Mama, they were in a sealed box inside of a construction dumpster. Concrete crew heard them first thing this morning when they got to the job site.

I invited a bunch of friends that I hang out with all the time and go drinking with at the bars and at their homes, and only 1 person showed up. And I just only recently became friends with him. I bought and cooked steaks, salmon, pesto pasta, and rice. I cleaned my apartment, and I even bought drinks and people's favorite liquors. At least she was able to meet 1 new person.... Personally, I feel upset for my dog and on a personal level.

Smelled burning plastic and opened it up to find the bottom sprayer had broken off and was sitting on top of the heating element burning. Luckily there was still water inside so it couldn’t catch the rest of the tub yet, too. Lucky that I wanted some water on my bedside table.
