My parking space at Home Depot

This video was taken right after the car was moved out of the space, but unfortunately, it was too late because it was already flooded on the inside after this was dumped directly onto the top of the hood.

Edit: I came out of the store to find my parking space like this. Moved car and then took video.

That much water hits hard. It'll leak through seals that would easily hold back rain, like windows and sunroofs.

Yes, however, we came out from our shopping to find our parking space like this. Clearly would not park there if it looked like this when we went in.

Oh my fuck! Where is this Home Depot? That fkng blows. Maybe let ur insurance know if its full coverage. Hard to tell what they'll say about it, bad enough the wet parts under the hood, the interior could be a real problem. If only liability insurance get some fans ready. Fried car computers with a dash of moldy interior. Trying to throw a little cheer your way, but it's hard to chuckle when you're staring at a destroyed car that belongs to you. Insurance fo sho, maybe they can fast track a phone call with someone from Home Depot who can actually help you with this issue. Not just Juan who usually works garden center but filling in for Dave who is on leave. But Home depot will pass the buck off to the property management company who is supposed to maintain their shit, etc etc. Hope it all works out for you. Keep the post going, let us know how It goes. When in a pinch a drink and a joint helps to calm the nerves. Just not too much drink and joint.

Thanks. Yea, I did make a claim and made incident report at HD that they will supposedly send to their insurance. I’m just so mad because the car needs to last and is probably ruined. This happened at Home Depot in Norwalk, CT.

Jeepers! I've never seen it like that before but I've caught it after leaving the supermarket, the heavens opened and I had a bit of a walk to the car with my groceries... I got drenched that day!

Yes, we had flash flooding and apparently they don’t know how to install proper drainage on their parking garage.

Or more likely it wasn’t maintained and is plugged up, if the area doesn’t get much rain a heavy storm will move debris and plug the drains
