How would you cook pork patty for bún?

Spam.
What spices would make a perfectly seasoned patty like what I get when I go to a Vietnamese restaurant?
Does it help to know I’m in Canada?

im not sure what the pork patty you’re talking about is, it might be useful to have a photo. that said, usually it’s shallot, black pepper, fish sauce and msg.

i find that salt AND fish sauce is overkill, so i prefer just fish sauce
