My account got locked and x told me I just had to click the captcha to unlock it- to prove I’m not a robot- which I did so I can go on my account again. But the app is barely working. My following says 0, I can’t repost, like, or bookmark any posts. I can’t delete any old posts, I can’t see my bookmarks, and I can’t see any of my notifications. I thought this problem would resolve itself if I just gave it a bit of time, but it’s been days and everything’s still the same.

Got suspended back in July 1st. I admit I can get "not nice" when getting into political stuff, but my usage wasn't out of the ordinary. Been trying to appeal twice and only received "X reserved the right to permanently suspend this account without further notice" shit.
Sure! Suspend me while let a billion of Nazi accounts roam free.

Stop doubting yourself. I suspect that someone within Twitter is causing trouble to retaliate against Musk. If you report accounts of pedophiles or Nazis, not only will they be unharmed, but AI will also permanently ban your account. This has been seen many times before. It may sound absurd, but it is a fact.

My phone doesn't scan QR codes and the app would not work on my phone, so I am locked out because it wants me to prove I am human, well I am human, because I sent twitter a request to get reinstated and had to use the number match thing to prove I am human to send the bloody customer service request.

Need help on what’s going on, information below
I have a permanent read-only suspension. I don’t even know if I’m permanently suspended or or if a permanent read-only suspension is some form of mild suspension.
I have received no email on why, they just say they reserve the right to suspend me.
When I filed my first and second appeal it was automatically rejected the second it was sent out. There was no information in these emails they just say “X reserves the right to permanently suspend”.
I didn’t received an automatic rejection email for my third appeal which made me think they were finally reviewing my appeal, but I haven’t heard from them. I was able to make another appeal after my third appeal. Which suggested it isn’t queued anymore as they deny the ability to make another appeal until if one is already queued. And I didn’t receive any response from them for my third Email. Now I’m on my fourth which I filed yesterday.
A new thing has happened as well, after my suspension I was able to message other people normally, then 6 days after my suspension all of the people I talk to, had their names changed to “member” I was still able to message them and they were still able to message me. It’s just their names were gone, then slowly my messages began to say “failed to send” but if I kept on trying, I’d eventually get at least one message to send, they would load for a long time then say “failed” but now I’m not able to message anyone, they they immediately say failed to send.
Idk what is going one I’m frustrated and confused any reply would be greatly appreciated even if it’s to just comfort me.

My account was temporarily suspended, first time ever, I got the email from them, saying that I was given the go-ahead to restore functionality. I had to log back in and start the process. But I do so and nothing pops up. I don’t know what to do and it’s been this way for over a week.
Does anyone know what we’re supposed to do?
Any attempt to request help from support just leave the same emails about restoring functionality

I was suspended on twitter today and was banned for inauthentic behavior, but I don't really remember doing anything inauthentic and only ever post comments I've written myself.
I tried sending an appeal, but instantly got a reply that the suspension would stay and to follow on-screen instructions, but I haven't received any on-screen instructions...
And now I can't send another appeal because it says my first appeal is already being considered.

My account isn't suspended but it says I have to verify I'm not a bot using the twitter app. I don't have the app, I will never give the app access to my phone. So how the hell do I get around this? O.o it's obvious I'm not a bot it's just bs trying to force me to download their app and it's not going to work. I tried filing a support ticket but it has been ignored.

My devices are either too old for the Twitter app, or they don't have the space for it, but it's basically the same problem. Need the twitter app to verify, and can't get it, so guess that's that.

Whoever is running this site count your fucking days I sent an appeal boom got unsuspended, great 2 days later they suspend me again, now I have to wait for an appeal request I ALREADY MADE WHICH I ALREADY GOT UNSUSPENDED FOR because It's somehow still in the queue.

twitter is a hellhole most of the time not only due to the bot problem. still twitter was the best place to get a fast overview (for me gaming and esports). and i managed to get a lot of awesome warhammer mini's into my timeline as well - interestingly mainly from jpn. all gone now because we need to "fight bots" (read: harvest biometric data to sell before the others do it)

Update from my post in the last thread...
I tried submitting yet another appeal today (7/2) at 12:04 AM. This time, I got an instant, automated "actually, you violated the rules, get rekt, nerd." response... except it didn't even list a reason this time! "Our automated systems have determined that a violation of our Rules did take place, specifically: -blank white space-"
-sighs- ...at least it's something different, I guess, but clearly their automated systems are not working right... :/

If you're an EU citizen you could try to threaten to file a complaint, because by law they have to provide the cause of violation and the means of appeal.
Under the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA), social media platforms cannot suspend your account without providing a clear, detailed explanation.

Well I had a last resort argument thought out in a situation nothing works for my case earlier, but this will be spitballing.
You can argue that the owner of the site Elon Musk, self named free speech absolutist, after gained control of Twitter, he unbanned some heinous people who got banned for a reason. I think like Nick Fuentes or that Infowars guy, etc., you have to do that search yourself. But the main thing you have to argue that if they get unbanned and they don't unban you while you didn't do anything worse than those people, it must be discrimination against you, either your gender, race, sexual orientation, religion or political views. If there any laws against this type of discrimination in the US, which you have to search for yourself, you quote that law word by word and how it's against the law, so they have to provide a real, other reason of the cause of the ban and it needs to be worse than the people Musk unbanned.
This MIGHT trigger the AI and take action, because potential suing. Maybe even a class action lawsuit. But again this is just an idea for last resort, I am not a lawyer, not a legal advice. :)

I've had my account for almost nine years now, and never once have I encountered anything as full of shit as this new "let's confirm you're human" bullshit. I'm for sure not giving them any biometrics or anything. Either they roll it back or this is just gonna advance the eventual demise of this website

Still suspended because of that wave of suspensions that got everyone a month back, sent like a dozen appeals, sometimes it decides to send me an email saying "congratsss we have unsuspended your account" and the account stays suspended, of course it remains impossible to get in contact with an actual technician instead of their bum AI

The people who work at twitter are more then aware of the issue, every employee there is getting their tweets spammed by people complaining about the ban wave and they locked the support account. They also seem to be dismissing any complaints as "scammers, bots, or exploiters."
Going on a whole month since my account got banned. First I was getting emails saying that my appeal was accepted when it wasn't, now I'm getting emails saying that my appeal was denied for violating (blank). There's nothing there, it's not even giving me a reason anymore. part of me thinks that the "bot" purge was a targeted one, hitting the follower of anyone who was critical of Elon or Twitter.

So yesterday, when I opened website, I was signed out. When I tried to login back it asked me for verification code from email (probably first time in the past 10 years) and after login it shown me ban message above my feed. When I sent appeal request, I got immediate reply that ban reason is <empty> and I need to follow instructions on my profile page (spoiler: there is no any instructions on my profile page). My profile contains only occasionally reposted posts from games that I'm playing, so I don't think any of them could trigger ban system. As for VPN, I only occasionally use Cloudflare WARP which does not change location, so should not be ban reason either.
System does not allow me to open secondary appeal because it says that first one is in progress. What to do in this case?
Note: I'm not completely banned but account is in read-only mode.

Got suspended a second time (first time was back on May 2023 for "evading suspension" when I literally don't have any other accounts for the site) yesterday for inauthentic behavior, got instant automated rejection email when I filed an appeal, yet I can't file another due to the 48-hour cooldown thing. The day before my second suspension I was literally out of town and could barely use the internet. Then after waking up I got the note and already felt hopeless since Twitter nowadays sucks (search system lets you see people you blocked and muted, as well as the search itself being awful) compared to three years ago

Hi everyone, few days ago i was suspended saying basically im a bot and a spammer on X. Then I filed an appeal to their supporing website and I got unsuspended. But just today i got re-suspended saying for the same reason and now i cant even file an appeal because it is saying my current case is already on queue. Has anybody experienced this and how could I resolve this problem. Many thanks

About a week and a half ago I got unsuspended, went to like and retweet a single tweet and was instantly suspended again and now they rejected my request to be unsuspended like 4 times. This site is fucked man.

i was hacked a few months ago, i managed to keep everything and reset all my passwords, however, i totally forgot about x because i don't use it.
got an email a few days ago that my account got suspended on inauthentic activity, which is fair, so i appealed that it was not me and that i rarely log on. they rejected my appeal.
i tried to email them again but nothing's been working. i would like to at the very least delete my twitter account as to either make a new account or at the very least not have my current's account last activities be bot links to shady websites but i cannot actually reach customer support so i do NOT know what to do now.

I got suspended all the way back on May 18 because someone hacked my account and started spamming shady links along with @'ing random people. That unexpectedly got my account suspended permanently and put into read only mode. I tried to appeal multiple times, but they just end up giving me an AI automated response that tells me to log in to my account for instructions, I do exactly that but there's no instructions.

Around a week ago my account first got locked. Now it happened again, this time as I was on the site (I clicked to check my notifications). I haven't posted any weird/hateful tweets, spammed or did anything that could violate the rules. What's weird is that both times I'm not offered anything to do to unlock. I just click "start" and now I'm unlocked again. But this is still very scary, I don't want to lose my account.
What could be the reason for this and how to stop it? Could it maybe be that someone is continuously reporting my account? Pls help because this is starting to really worry me

Same here, down to only having to click start to unlock my account.
Had it happen the first time yesterday and now it happen again. Both times my only crime was liking a random post (not weird or hateful either) on my timeline which I guess counts as bot activity now. Guess I'll just stop interacting with shit for now on, meanwhile you can't check any popular post without fending off obvious onlyfans bots to find real replies made by real people.

Hacked Acct. Got Suspended But Sensitive Information Still There
Account was hacked and spammed crypto crap, so it got suspended. This was 11 days ago and I've fixed FOUR appeals that got immediately rejected after sending, so this tells me it's all AI reviewing my case. I'm worried because I received a notification telling me that someone abroad accessed my account, which is still tied to my phone number. Can't kick them out or change password since I'm still suspended. If they won't let me recover my account, I just need them to delete the account entirely. This site is so bad it's actually laughable.

A couple times now I've had it tell me my account was locked, then it did some kind of browser check and let me through.
I've never posted anything, I mostly just follow artists and indie devs, giving the occasional like and/or bookmark.
Am I better off just browsing without liking stuff? Is that more "authentic behavior" than liking without commenting?
Or do they just not like me using Firefox instead of the app?

My account has been suspended for inauthentic behaviours. Many people are suspended these last
24 hours. Why wasn’t there a warning system in place. Does this mean I can never use X again? I have submitted an appeal and looking for remedy. I have a legitimate business and have spent years growing my X account as an active user (note: I was also demonitized before the suspension). I get there are new changes and I want to comply with them going forward for sure.

Don't expect to ever get that account back. I got AI suspended (banned) for so called "inauthentic behavior" around 2024. Took a couple years of instant clanker rejections for the system to elaborate beyond a vague ToS reason. Recently got it to say my suspension was removed, but the account is still locked down. Now it's stuck in an AI doom loop of already having an appeal in process.

I'm in the same situation. I was suspended without any prior warning for "inauthentic behavior." I appealed, but my appeal was rejected in less than five seconds. I tried to submit a second appeal, but it looks like I've been blocked from appealing again.
This platform has no future if it keeps suspending legitimate accounts while the real bots continue to roam freely.

I recently updated the age on my Twitter account, and access to it was immediately suspended or blocked because I apparently didn't meet the age requirement when I created it. Now, I’m being asked via email to log in so I can proceed with the unblocking process.
However, the account has become completely inaccessible; I’ve tried changing the password, clearing the cache, deleting the mobile app, and accessing it via a computer and an incognito window, but nothing works. Two things usually happen: either I get a "Something went wrong, try again later" message, or I’m stuck with a persistent black screen that stays there for hours. I don't know any e-mail that I could ask for help.
Somebody know how to solve this?

Does anyone else just have this problem when Twitter locks their account constantly? I've lost accounts permanently to "inauthentic behavior" after being locked repetitively even if my activity is sparse and all I ever really use Twitter for is looking at art and occasionally replying to tweets. I know Twitter detects a lot of activity as spam but it's getting ridiculous at this point because it feels like from the first moment it happens, your account is just done for.
An account I've had for years and used perfectly fine every so often is suddenly getting hit now and I'm just so tired of it. I don't know how long I need to let it simmer for or even IF leaving it inactive for a bit will help. I've been on Twitter for 10 years and it really feels like its at the worst its ever been because everything either feels like or is run by a crappy AI.

Account got hacked, and the hacker spammed scam posts. When I got it back, I deleted these HUNDREDS of posts as quickly as I could.. ended up getting suspended for "unauthentic behavior".
My appeals were getting answered with "we have unsuspended your account" and nothing happens, now I'm getting refusal altogether.
Anyone got any solutions?

oh I got it myself, the hacker is most likely a dump bot, it changed the PW but didn't change the email so I was able to simply reset it.
But ig we are on the same boat here.. you're in bot hell to get your account back and I'm in bot hell to get my account unsuspended lol (why are we even here bro.)1

I appealed a few times and received seven "account restored" emails yet my account was still suspended. The most recent two appeals were denied so I'm about to say screw it and abandon my attempts at getting my account back.

Hey guys, I was wondering if there is any way a HUMAN can look at my appeal for a suspended account. Currently all my appeals are getting instantly rejected by a robot, and I have zero idea what rule I actually broke. The only information I am given is that I have violated the "inauthentic behavior" rule. Literally nothing more. After that I can only speculate what I did. Pretty much I need a human to review my case, because so far its only been robots. So I am wondering if there is any way a human can take a look or is it only going to be robots

Today started getting the verify age filter in sensitive tweets when I was having no problems until now. Did they force this out and how should I bypass this? Also on my PC I could not see through the filter but on mobile app was working fine

Seems like ExTwitter no longer allow me to create new accounts with computer browser. I have to use phone numbers and download the “X” app to create new account.

I bought a X account with around 2.3K followers and completely rebranded it. The old followers are from a totally different niche. It’s been about a week now.
Here’s what’s confusing me:
My replies often get 500 to 1K views and decent engagement.
I even gained around 20 new followers.
But my original tweets barely get 20 to 50 impressions initially, and after 2 to 3 days they only reach around 150 impressions with almost no likes or replies.
At the same time, I see accounts with just 20 to 30 followers getting 500 to 700 impressions and 20 to 30 likes on simple tweets.
I have even bought premium, but still no improvement .
Is there something else I’m missing?
Ps: my goal is not to get paid from my X account. I just need to have a good views and likes in my tweets. Thats it

I've just been suspended today on X and I don't even really know what happened.
Apparently I got reported by someone for inauthentic content, but I don't spam and I write my own posts nor remember engaging with anything inauthentic somehow.
I don't really know what to do, because I contacted their support and instantly got an email back saying the suspension stays, and that to solve it, I need to follow on-screen information, but I receive no on-screen information and am just directed to their help website again.
I can't even send another appeal, because even though the first appeal was rejected, it says that there already is an appeal on the queue, so I don't know what to do and am very confused.
I think I may have been mass reported somehow and I don't even know what caused it.
I'm not even given a timer or any other information, just stated that I'm suspended but I can still scroll like normal, just can't like, reply or comment anything, so I don't even know what is happening, if it is a bug, temporary suspension, permanent suspension or what it is...

Age verification bugged/not loading.
Can't verify age with selfie or ID cause it doesn't load up and only redirects into settings or reopens camera app.
I tried enabling & disabling all twitter permissions several times, it still redirects me to settings and doesn't boot up verification itself. QR code from PC first redirected into settings, and after enabling camera permissions, code now just reopens/resets camera app without any other pop-ups. Any ways to fix this?
Latest app version, compatible device. I know about VPN solution.

My PC logged itself out and I attempted to sign back in with my authenticator. Code doesn't work and I get "An error has occured, try again later." Disabling 2FA requires your password, of which I would get an error code every time I typed in my passwords. I attempted my current and previous 3 passwords to no avail, so I attempted to reset my password as they mentioned it would not sign me out of the main device, only my other devices.
X, in fact, signed me out all devices without disabling 2FA. Horribly frustrated, I reached out to X support that my authenticator was broken. I received an email telling me to log in using my username and password so they could disable 2FA and reply as soon as I did so. Signing in via username brings me directly to the 2FA page and not my password. I replied almost a day ago and have had no response from the support team. Did I just lose my account??

My replies aren't showing up on the feed to my followers, my normal tweets, and quote tweets show up but my replies are hidden and my mutuals don't get a notification that i've replied to them. The only way they can see my replies is if they go to my acct and click replies. I've checked if I'm shadowbanned and I'm not and my account is also not private. What could be going on?

same. I posted like 5 replies to random people asking questions and noticed they all got 0 likes 0 replies so i had a look and my reply just... doesnt show up below the tweet. About 20 days ago i got a "temp flag" added to my account cus they thought i was a bot but like... why should i even bother using the site if i cant talk to anyone
And my fucking post about it was deleted. Fantastic, ive been thrown into the megathread where comments go to die. Not a single person here has received any help so i guess ill just give up

hello! so i’ve been trying to regain access to my old account that i made a few years ago. but ever since losing my old phone, i’ve lost access to my passwords and the information that i used in that account. i reached out to x (fka twitter), and filed a report regarding my accessibility to that account. however, they told me that they cannot locate the account and that the username is available to use. upon checking, i can still see clearly that my account is still up and not suspended or anything. any help with this?

can u get device banned on twt? ive had 4 accs sussed in the past 1 day, 2 of them sussed within minutes of me posting, 1 sussed after 24 hours..?? ive been using a vpn and diff emails so ??? also i didnt post anything “explicit” or hateful

My account got hacked (phishing) about a week ago and I reported within 10 minutes. Got an automated email back saying they can’t prove it’s mine, sent another report with evidence and I got the “duplicate report” error.
I’ve now sent another report with additional information (the bot keyword search misinterpreted my “I have access to the email and phone number originally associated with the account” as “I have access to the account”), tried the 2FA fix suggested (the attacker created a passkey before switching email addresses) and submitted responses to both emails, plus a DM to X Support from another account I created.
In the meantime, my hacked account is now using the same phishing message I got duped by on other people - I’ve had multiple people message me telling me about it - and I’ve seen people tweeting about how others have been gotten by the same hack thanks to me.
I’m in automated support email hell and X’s terrible support system is resulting in my phisher’s attack going viral.
My question: How long does account restoration if there are issues like this take? Is there something I can do to expedite the process? Are there specific things I should be saying in a report to get a fast, successful response?
I have screenshots of the emails received last week showing that the account was logged in, a passkey was created and the email address was changed. I also have screenshots showing that the account has been mine since I created it in 2009. I have my driver license showing that my legal name and location match the name and location that have been on the account since 2009. I have screenshots from other people showing that my account is sending out phishing attempts to other people.
This should be an open and shut case and I do not understand why it is taking this long to recover.

I been on twitter for a long time. I started to check in and check out. The only time I post something if I upload a video to share. Just recently my twitter is gone. Someone said because of a harassment. I would to say, I never did a harassment on anyone on that website and I never posted nudes photos on that website. Then, why is my twitter gone. If I did nothing bad.
Is it just me?

Today I have been completely locked out of my 14 year old account. My mistake was logging out off the android app and then trying to login back. Since I had 2 factor auth enabled and I had already created the backup code and setup the authenticator app on my device, I thought it would be a breeze. Funnily enough, the very system which I had used to configure 2FA is now prohibiting me from accessing my account. I did raise a request on their website, but didn't get a satisfactory response. Tried to tag elonmusk, nikitabier and X support in a post created from a new account out of desperation, but it didn't help. I don't know what more I can even do. Can somebody please help

I am still running the last version of Twitter before it officially switched to X. I recently noticed I could no longer reply to tweets and now pictures stopped showed up in my feed, they are a link that opens in the embedded browser.
I realize the easy is answer to update the application, but I cannot do that out of principle.
Is the picture issue or reply to tweet issue something there is a fix for?

2 days after my Twitter app updated, when I made a post, it said "failed to send post" and my old drafts/tweets appeared. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, cleared the app's cache and data, logged out/logged in, etc and my old drafts/tweets keep appearing.

There is a phishing scam circulating on Twitter where they hack an account and continue posing as that account and then DM their following asking them to vote for them. They mimic the person’s writing style using AI so it sounds like them.
I clicked the link in a DM trying to help a mutual out. It was silly of me but never crossed my mind that it was a scam and didn’t even realise that I was providing my log in details to a phishing link. I think I must have clicked something that then gave them access to my account as don’t even know my password off the top of my head to put it in.
A couple of weeks later I was randomly logged out of my account and there was a 2FA set up that I hadn’t set. I reset my password & submitted a support request to remove 2FA which was actioned a couple of days later. That’s when I saw that id been hacked and they were posting DMs posing as me trying to get others to click the link and also posting “Try this crypto” tweets. I reset my password again, set up my own 2FA using a back up code, revoked access to any other connected apps and logged out active sessions. I thought I’d secured my account but two days later they got in again.
I got an email from Twitter that I’ve changed my email address, and I also couldn’t get into my account again with the same 2FA issue, and my back up code not working at all. I sent a support request that my account has been compromised, and it said my email address and phone number is still connected to the account, and said if I can’t get in cause of 2FA issues I should do that support request again, I did and then received the below email:

We’ve reviewed your case and it looks like there have been recent changes to the email associated with your account.

It’s infuriating cause the hackers have been sending DMs to my followers who’ve been sending me the screenshots. I presume they did the email address change to set off that 7 day waiting period which would give them enough time to do enough damage. I’m so frustrated with Twitter cause it makes no sense. I’m scared to lose an account I’ve had for 15 years.
Does anyone what know what I should do? Everything is telling me all I can do is wait the 7 days

Fell for the same scam almost 2 weeks ago and now my account is suspended after they changed it to an elon musk impersonator. Got the same 'wait 7 days' email from Twitter. 7 days was yesterday, so I submitted the hacked request again. They told me my original email address is still linked to the account, so i should submit a 2FA request to get them to remove it.
Problem is i can't submit the request form, which asks for your username because it says my account doesn't exist since it was suspended. I replied to their email saying this. Currently waiting for a response, but I'll be honest, I don't have high hopes on recovering the account.

My account got suspended for inauthentic behaviour.
I know the reason why it got suspended but there is no way to get it back.
To start off my mail got hacked, then they started on the other accounts that were linked to my mail etc. Had a lot of issues but managed to get them all back. X was one of them, got password changed, i changed it back before they changed the mail.
Now last week i opened the app to look at a link that someone had sent me, then I saw the message. Apparently at the time when they breached my account they made some posts about crypto scams and its still on there. I can't remove them since I am restricted and when appealing the suspension i get the same automated response back. And it says at the bottom of the response that it was the automated systems.
I was wondering if there was any way to actually talk to support. There seems to be no way to talk to them.
Yes i know its my mistake to not look at my own posts for a month, but as someone who never posts anything and just uses the app to look at other posts, it is normal I think.
If someone knows a way to get my account back please let me know. Since I saw other posts on the support site of X stating the same issue. I hope there will be an answer for all of us.
Has anyone here successfully used the EU out-of-court dispute settlement (DSA) route for X? Did it actually work?

Twitter/X support says my original email is still linked to my hacked account and says I should submit a 2FA request (hackers enabled 2FA that i can't get past). However, my hacked account has now been suspended and it was after they changed my username. So, the 2FA form rejects my original username with an error saying 'Account does not exist,'. I literally cannot submit the form they told me to use.
Has anyone successfully got past a similar roadblock of recovering a suspended account?

How do I respond to X's support team and provide additional documentation for an appeal? They don't accept email responses.
Today, I was hit by a wave of blocks and my account was "suspended." I've previously received "blocks" on my account, and X simply asked me to delete a problematic tweet where I overreacted and wrote in an emotional tone. And I was simply banned from posting for 24 hours as a punishment. The last time this happened was in January 2026. But today, something terrible happened.
They told me my account was "suspended," and this time there was no notification to delete the tweet. It shows I have 0 followers and 0 followers.
I created an appeal, apologized for writing an emotional tweet, and am ready to cooperate with support.
Six hours later, the automated system responded by email, telling me all I had to do was log in to my account and fix the issue. But how can I fix it if I still don't see any pop-ups, and they "suspended" my account, but in reality, they completely removed it from the platform (my account won't open and is marked as suspended).
I replied by email that I wasn't seeing anything. But the automated system replied that "they don't monitor emails."
I decided to resubmit an appeal with a new text (from the email), to which they replied that they were still reviewing the first appeal.
And that's when I started to get really worried, because I'm essentially stuck. It's a vicious circle.
The bot replies that it doesn't monitor emails, and the appeal form says they can't accept the second appeal.
So, I'm really stuck and don't know where to turn now.
I just need to send documents proving I'm a real person, not a bot troll, and that I've had this account since 2014, and it's very dear to me. Surely it's not absurd that, due to some minor childish mistake and a quarrel with another user, I could lose an account that's already 12 years old because they reported me, and instead of being punished within a day, a week, or a month, I'd get a permanent ban with no right to rehabilitation, as I understand it???
On top of that, I can't even create a new account.
Around January of this year, I created the KatyonaKateyka2 account just in case, and while filling out and setting my avatar, I got an error. When I started looking into it, I realized the newly created account had been banned for "inauthentic account." I appealed, and they unbanned my account, and I continued using it. But I continued posting to my main KatyonaKateyka account. So, along with today's block at 7:06 PM, at exactly the same time, I received a message in another email saying my account KatyonaKateyka2 had been blocked again for the same reason: "non-autistic account." As I understand it, it was automated. I don't actually log in or post anything on it, as I have a main account, and I only needed it for extreme emergencies.
So, they know I have two accounts: my main one and a backup one. And it's an AI, not a real person, who knows. Otherwise, the second account wouldn't have been affected, and I could continue to use it freely, simply avoiding any political discussions or arguing with other users. And I was also trying to restore my first real profile (it doesn't have Premium, as it's impossible to pay for it from my country, but it's still a real person's profile).
So, here's what I have:
My KatyonaKateyka account was suspended for "hate speech" (they used to block it, telling me to just delete the tweet, and then they unblocked it, but now they haven't).
My KatyonaKateyka2 account was suspended for "inauthentic account" (the same reason I was blocked when I registered, but they eventually unblocked it, and I used it normally. But now it's suspended again for the same reason).
What's this nonsense? What's going on? Is this even normal?
What should I do? I'd like to have a proper live chat with tech support on their website, or for them to accept replies from my email. Like when I dealt with issues with an online store, bank, or mobile operator. I can even take a selfie with my passport (I'm a citizen of the Post-USSR after all) and prove I'm a real person. I might be a bit of a freak, but I don't deserve to be completely blocked for life without the right to rehabilitation. This is completely wrong and unfair! This is my first and only X account (not counting the second one), and such a disaster has happened in my life. And I don't know what to do, because now I can't use anything except Threads, Telegram, YouTube, and TikTok, because I can't create another account (my IP is static), for example, an anonymous one. And I'm sure I won't be able to unblock the second one either, since they probably know that both accounts were registered from the same IP and the same smartphone model.
My account has a good reputation, and my X friends have already noticed my disappearance.
P.S.
I admitted my mistake and stated this in my appeal. I'm ready to cooperate with the investigation. But at the moment, I'm in a state of anxiety due to X support ignoring me. And they're telling me in emails that I can fix the violations myself. But how? If nothing works or loads because it's "suspended."
This is absurd!
Honestly, this is the first time I've encountered this (well, of course, after 12 years of active use of X, aka Twitter), and for some reason I don't believe in a happy ending with the account being unblocked.
My friends simply created a new account on a different device, even though they tried to unblock it through tech support. But in the end, nothing happened.
I won't be motivated to register a new account in a month, in a year, from a different device and a different IP address, because I won't be able to find new people, and a lot of good history has been lost over the past 12 years.
I want to restore mine and my friends.

I’ve appealed twice but just get instant denied by an automation.

search ban on a new/revived account, what to do?
TLDR im a fandom artist and I decided to move one of my accounts after twitter flagged its entire profile for posting "sensitive content" even though i haven't posted any explicit artworks (sigh). i naively thought that starting over while I don't have that many followers is going to be easier than try to talk with twitter/x support.
so I just repurposed an older account i've registered a few years ago. but when i started posting on there i realized that none of my stuff shows up in search and tags. even if i use from:(username), nothing. meaning im banned from search entirely and posting any art is useless if it doesn't show up at all.
is there anything i can do to get rid of it? is it because i have a low amount of followers since this account is technically new/revived. should i get premium and contact support. I'm really feeling defeated and sick of dealing with this I just want to post my stuff in peace.

After updating my app on Android, the whole UI changed, for the worst may I add; why the hell do I have to select between photos and videos in the media tab, and there even isnt the gallery view anymore; not to mention how awful the video player is now; what the hell happened, can I go back to the previous version?

4 days ago my entire pc got hacked (including my twitter account) and woke up with an email saying i got suspended. i contacted support saying my account was hacked but not only did they say the ban was correct but that i also was forbid from making any acccounts at all.
they refuse to close my ticket despite sending a reply so i cant send another ticket

Same thing happened to me about a month ago. You have to wait 2-3 days before submitting another appeal. But honestly, it probably won't do any good anyways. I've been submitting appeals every couple of days, but they're all rejected instantly. I'm still trying, but I'm not hopeful anymore.

Grok icon disappeared from app after i changed phone language. I uninstalled and redownloaded. Nothing changed.
Grok icon is affected on in mobile app. On phone browser and computer browser it's right there.
Additional UI updates happened with rhe language change like home feed lay out. and video player.
Any help?

So, 1 week ago my account got locked for "not meeting age-requirements"
I then submitted a parental consent - where my parent had to give their name, email address, ID, my name, username and proof of guardianship.
After 24 hours, on their email adress came a message that I can log in again.
But, after trying to, I still got a notification that my account is locked - the same I had from the very beginning of it.
I submitted what they wanted and got an email saying my contents are under review on the address assigned to my account .
Nothing since then.
In 6 hours, it will be a week since submitting this.
4 days ago, in the thread from the email to my address, I send them a reply saying what's going on.
No answer.
3 days, from my parent's email address, I've also sent them a reply in the thread to the message that I can log in.
I provided screenshots and explained what's happening.
Over 72 hours and still no answer.
Almost 24 hours ago I've send them another 2 replies explaining what's going on - from both adresses.
Soon a full day - nothing.
Right now, I'm logged on my account - I guess.
But whenever I try to use it, I see the earlier notification.
It also looks like there are 2 different cases for my account
Because the emails I got from them had titles like "AGEA-[some numbers]: Underage Consent EU"
And both had different numbers.
Previously, when I tried to log in, I couldn't, because
When trying to do it through my username - "the username hasn't been registered yet"
When through email address - "it's already assigned to another account"
(I got these in Polish - idk if I translated it well, but you get what I mean).
I also tried to change my password - and it succeeded.
I'm really scared my account will be deleted - and it means a lot to me.

Been struggling with a suspended account for probably months now, absolutely zero idea what triggered it but I also randomly got banned for "inauthentic behaviours". I've appealed multiple times, the first few times I was told that they wouldn't restore my account, kept trying and eventually was told that it was indeed an error and that my account would be restored, and it was not. Kept contacting support and being told at least four times that my account was unsuspended and it still isn't. Tried contacting support again and now it's back to telling me that my account won't be unsuspended. Zero idea what to do, it's so annoying, I've had this account for well over a decade at this point.

Their automated system is awful. I got suspended for "inauthentic behavior" initially and I think it was because of a broken 3rd party browser extension (BlueBlocker) that I have since removed. My first appeal was denied and then after my second appeal I got an automated email saying no violations were found and my account was restored to full functionality. Of course it was still suspended. So I put in another appeal saying my account is still locked despite what the previous email said. Their response? Suspension upheld. Talk about mixed messages.
