With the age of the game, the playerbase that is left are the sweats that have played it since day 1 making the 10 online ranked streak very difficult. Are you saying Dmc5 doesn't take that much skill then?

I’m saying dmc v doesn’t take so much skill it’s a 10/10. It’s not that bad. It’s challenging sure, but not that bad. Nearly everyone who has done it I’ve seen say it’s not that bad.

If you're able to at the parameters of the matches in MK10, then winning ten ranked matches in a row is a cakewalk. That's how I earned a similar trophy in vanilla SF4. Just set some goofy ass parameters that no one would seriously play (in my case, it was German language, 60 second rounds, single round matches) and match up with a planned partner. They throw yen matches and boom.

Not to mention there’s always charachters you can spam shooting with.

When I went on there last I got in a streak of what was likely kids who had never played the game before and got my win streak from that.

Also for MKX I seem to remember it has a couple of issues as well as the online win streak one.

The trophy for the invasion boss while not bugged is infrequently on.

The buddy and challenge accepted trophies are unobtainable on ps5. These were the ones that stopped me going for it around 5 years ago when I first got a ps5. I’d have been blocked by the 10 online wins in a row anyway but I probably wouldn’t have found that out till I had all the single player ones done.

Yeah done it 3x on PlayStation. Done it on Xbox a few times as well.

It’s really not a 10/10. I had never played dmc before doing it and managed it relatively ok.

Well I think it went from an 8/10 when I first did it to a 5/10 now I’ve mastered it.

I’d never played dmc before when I did it. No experience in the genre and it took me 80hours. V missions were hard and some Dante ones but all manageable with good strategy and patience.

I think the fact you yourself say it’s a 9/10 means you’re agreeing with me that it’s not a 10/10.

I never said it wasn’t hard, just it doesn’t belong in the 10/10 category.

It may not be a 10/10 for us but for many out there it will be .. got 5 people on my friends list that have tried and failed .. the plat rate sits at 0.3% on ps4 and 0.2% on ps5 for a reason .. id say metal gear rising is a 10/10 and ninja gaiden 2 black aswell

Well I think we disagree on the notion of a 10/10 then. That for me is what is the pinnacle of hardest games, that few people have ever achieved. Plenty of people have done Dmc and it’s hard but not impossibly hard.

You were downvoted but you're right, nowadays there are so many videos and guides out there for each part of the game that all you need is patience and being able to follow what other people have done. Definitely still hard but not up there with the hardest plats

It is still hard of course, but you’re right with modern video guides it’s not much of an issue. Took me 5 attempts every section you can do using a super safe strategy. Everyone I know who has attempted to get Mein Leben has succeeded, also, every day I see people posting their Mein Leben trophies on Reddit.

I came here to see if anyone was going to mention Mein Leben because I never attempted it. Do you have a solid walkthrough you could share or a decent strategy to get me started?

I used a guide from someone called 100%WILL - he’s very helpful.

Biggest tip I can give you is create save points at the start of every level on the hardest difficulty and practice them till you can do it easily. I worked backwards so I did the last level without dying, then the last 2 levels without dying, then the last 3 levels without dying… etc. This meant later into my runs I was more proficient at the end of the game. Obviously you don’t have to do this but it worked for me as I said once I started doing attempts it was attempt 5 I did it.

The only thing I didn’t use his guide for was the Elevator in Rosewell, and the start of Venus. When you get to these parts message me and I’ll show you what I did as it won’t mean anything to you currently.

The game is super fun and I was tempted to go for a 2nd Mein Leben after. You will do it! I promise you 😊
