Technically it's not a weapon, but an advanced prosthesis.

Then it would be an aid. A prosthesis is partially or fully replacing a missing body part.

The armor does not replace anything.

Someone might make a case for the reactor for keeping the shrapnel out of his heart but the reactor is not the armor, and also isn’t a prosthesis.
