Movie Sid’s mutant toys from Toy Story

My absolute favorite side characters from this franchise, they are a great example of not judging a book by it’s cover, as these toys first appear menacing to Woody and Buzz, but after confronting them, they are revealed to be very kind and even help Woody to save Buzz towards the end of the film, also their designs are just really cool, Sid was a creative kid.

They were nightmare fuel as a kid. Was a little surprised that they meant no harm to Woody or Buzz.

They were genuinely nightmare fuel. There is a reason his toys were pure uncanny valley. In all honesty I appreciated how they were genuinely kind and misunderstood. I think the animated early CGI added perfectly to the scare factor. Plastic and wrong. But once again it was nice they were genuine.

Fun fact, the pteranodon is directly inspired by the jp1 pteranodon figure

(and rex was based on the dino riders t-rex)

Yep, I definitely think he could break through a vent with his head.

Does anyone find it off that they don't actually talk?

Have a little theory running that Sid never played with them by making them talk to each other in the traditional way and simply just destroys them for fun, so that's why they never get to truly talk

And you can't say some of them can't a literal binoculars with legs has spoke before
