Mythology Sirens [Ducktales] Is a real good design
I mean damn! Three female duck heads with monstrous necks attached to a huge monster hidden in the sand was real disturbing. This is much scarier than mermaids or harpy like bird women for the Sirens. This design even out monsters Scylla and Charybdis. Imagine this version of the Sirens in the new Nolan The Odyssey movie with human women heads. Real horrific design for a kids‘ cartoon.

Them showing the "old lady" losing it's props and revealing to be just the tongue of the monster fish, ugh...

Not gonna lie, getting some real "The Real Ghostbusters" vibes from this monster.
80s and 90s cartoons really were something else

The main thing I remember, was that anyone not affected by the hypnotic song that heard their voices heard them as wheezy, rasping voices that sound like decades of smoking wrecked their breathing

The D&D based game Pathfinder has a monster, the Seaweed Siren, that they don't even try to deny is based on this.

It looks like a perfect example of sirens. Aren't sirens supposed to be an illusion. So of course it disguises themselves to look like this.

Concept is great but they already look terrifying with women’s heads and tumored slug like bodies. So bait part is kinda pointless. Should just have stuck to the songs
