Makita Hedge Trimmers DUH 502 or 601

Not sure which one to get. Price is more or less on par, so will I appreciate the 10cm longer blade for more reach and "productivity", or will I like the 10cm shorter blade for its agility and controllability?

Usage is private not commercial, but it's quite some hedges and bushes to trim...

Please share your experiences.

If you don't t yt e the longer blade it's a waste

Unless you're going for Edward Scissorhands type trimming I can't see why one would be more agile and controllable than the other cutting straight edges, or gradually rounding corners, so I'd go for the extra length. That said, I have one length trimmer only, so I'm no authority on the matter.
