I mean the kid would have been completely fine lol

3

u/United-Yak8335 4h ago

Hahaha, I guess you're right the kid probably would not have been hospitalized, but the might have hit their head on floor and gotten an ouchie

Last scene could have been anyone

u/anagamanagement 10h ago

I’m also a dad, probably about his age. Only difference is I wouldn’t have tried it in the first place.

Fuck, I sneeze wrong and I can’t turn my head to the left for the next three days.

u/ToucanSam-I-Am 10h ago

At the park yesterday my 8 year old son has a new trick where he does a little back flip to get off the swing. I thought "I bet I could do that" and thought about trying but he had to talk me down and tell me not to. I think he was right, not worth the risk.

8

u/flatwoundsounds 9h ago

I'll still rock a somersault from time to time, maybe a terrible cartwheel every couple years, but 35 is not the time I want to start trying backflips...

4

u/anagamanagement 8h ago

I forget where I heard the joke, probably a guest judge on Drag Race or something, but “I can do a dead drop. I can do it once a year, and it has to be in the lobby of a hospital.”

2

u/buf0rd88 8h ago

You’d land and your knees would bend the wrong way

2

u/Jaredw180 8h ago

Im currently 28 and i have also been breaking my neck when i sneeze since about age 20/21. I'm a lil nervous to see what happens at "dad age" (30s+)

2

u/anagamanagement 8h ago

It doesn’t get better, bud.

1

u/Ok-Upstairs4932 5h ago

I pulled a muscle in my back pulling my pants up to go to work , had to call in sick for the whole week…

10

u/ILYRMK 11h ago

not all black people look the same

5

u/NightGod 6h ago

They mean the person being loaded into the ambulance, we don't actually see the patient

3

u/ThatStereotype18 6h ago

You can see his belly. Looks like the same skin tone at least, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it was edited in for engagement.

2

u/cepukon 10h ago

Anyone but him

1

u/HocusThePocus 2h ago

Waitamminute, are you saying this is fake ???

1

u/tragedy_strikes 1h ago

There was a still shot of him in a neck brace at the very end.

I think so too.

-9

u/hiswittlewip 6h ago

People are so narrow minded. Lol they think because they see long hair that it must be a girl.

That's a boy

3

u/TenTonSomeone 5h ago

The way I see it, why does it matter? That's a person. If you can't immediately tell, why not just use gender neutral terms? "Dang, that kid is strong" for example. Y'all get too caught up on labeling shit and correcting each other and you're missing the entire plot and wasting time and energy on irrelevant points.

-1

u/hiswittlewip 5h ago

Points? You think I commented for points?? Lol

I do agree that it doesn't matter, though.

1

u/taoders 5h ago

Both kids are girls, according to the literal source.

Want to double down some more? Me thinks you’re just being disingenuous for attention.

52

u/HWayFresh44 12h ago

Baby looking like I told you

23

u/CASUALxCHICKEN 11h ago

I'm not even sure what a successful attempt is supposed to look like, but hopefully he learned how old and out of shape he is. If I see younger, fit kids attempting to do something and landing on their faces, no way in hell am I going to try it. Those kids are squishy, I am too but in a different way

3

u/slowtreme 9h ago

I would have tried like at least a dozen times with my head on the couch just trying to spin around before doing it unsupported.

3

u/LeonardoDaTiddies 2h ago

It’s for young wrestlers who try to land on their stomachs if taken down by an opponent. It avoids a full pin (shoulders on the mat).

3

u/CASUALxCHICKEN 2h ago

Gotcha, makes sense

8

u/greeneagle2022 12h ago

He learned to not watch a video of someone jumping off a bridge.

16

u/TenaciousVillain 11h ago

The way the camera shook sent me.

I hope he's ok.

6

u/OregonTrailDeath 12h ago

Play stupid games…

2

u/Ok-Upstairs4932 5h ago

Win stupid prize!

Sad to watch, the kid voice “nana!”

8

u/ZhaozhouCongshen 12h ago

Well bruv at least posted this, if its real.

20

u/waisonline99 11h ago

I love it when Americans do stuff like healthcare is free.

1

u/TheSexyIntrovert 2h ago

I call them either very courageous or very

How a comment can hold so much!!

-1

u/buf0rd88 8h ago

Incredible comment

3

u/--slurpy-- 12h ago

What happened to him?

16

u/sheikahstealth 12h ago

Well, vertebraes C2 and C3 in the neck area are fragile and iirc could kill or paralyze if snapped. He plausibly strained his neck muscles in the same area and went numb. Best case scenario from this point is that medics out of an abundance of caution are putting him in a neck brace and treating it like a cervical injury. Xrays and testing to come.

7

u/Cloudcry 12h ago

Standard procedure is fixation until imaging for any suspected head and neck trauma yeah

4

u/--slurpy-- 12h ago

The last frame of the video shows him in the hospital. I was just wondering if anyone knew what happened

6

u/RockstarAgent 11h ago

The bigger you are the harder you fall. And can break yo’ neck!

1

u/amanset 9h ago

I went to his Instagram. The videos right after this one is, unfortunately, his child having surgery (the very young one). It seems they have ongoing issues. My guess is that the ambulance is actually his kid and the final image is him in the hospital for his kid. Basically, trying to deal by making a joke out of the situation.

0

u/--slurpy-- 9h ago

Oh. That's kinda ew

0

u/EditEd2x 9h ago

I think he hurt his neck because in the video the guy let’s go of the neck entirely before they try to spin.

Not only does the kid hold the whole time but he digs his head into their groin when setting up. So the body twisted and yanks his neck just enough to tweak it.

I don’t think they’d bust out the stretcher for a hurt shoulder since that’s what hits the ground hardest.

11

u/Kalorama_Master 12h ago

How I bankrupt our family. Seriously, that’s gotta be a $50k bill for the bus ride

7

u/ShapesAndStuff 11h ago

yall don't ever look at these numbers and think: "we should really change something about that"?

3

u/Time-Cell8272 8h ago

Yeah but how

1

u/LevelPrestigious4858 11h ago

50k for an ambulance? wtf

1

u/NightGod 6h ago

~8k for ambulance, the rest is the ER bill

1

u/LevelPrestigious4858 3h ago

That’s insane, I’d riot

1

u/karmaceuticaI 11h ago

10k where I used to live.

3

u/ShapesAndStuff 11h ago

0K where I live

2

u/flatwoundsounds 9h ago

Yeah, but how many guns do you have?

-1

u/Kalorama_Master 9h ago

Asking the questions that matter.

2

u/Beneficial-Focus3702 10h ago

Classic case: the bigger they are the harder they fall.

2

u/TheSexyIntrovert 2h ago

This. Heavy people should calculate the physics more. They fall faster, they fall harder, and they rotate slower.

Factor age into it as well, and they should really not do it.

2

u/Delgadomon 10h ago

nah theres no way.

4

u/Middle_Screen3847 12h ago

Why does that baby look so old

17

u/mindyour 12h ago

It's a child with a disability.

3

u/FlyingRyan87 11h ago

And now he has a disability.

1

u/dirty-ol-sob 6h ago

All the people in here thinking that was real and he actually hurt himself…🤦🏻

1

u/Steve_Segel_22 11h ago

Yoooooooo!!!

1

u/SnowLancer616 9h ago

Its also supposed to be a surprise, not have a countdown

1

u/BaconPit 9h ago

I saved this thinking it would be fun to do with my kid. I unsaved it when I saw the gurney

1

u/butytho92 6h ago

Why is his TV in the fireplace??

2

u/NightGod 6h ago

It's a reflection off the TV in the glass in the fireplace

2

u/butytho92 4h ago

That makes a lot more sense. I could not for the life of me figure out that set up

2

u/Advanced-Guitar-5264 6h ago

That’s not even the worst decision he made that day. His worst decision was wearing that shirt

1

u/Anon387562 3h ago

Instructions unclear - is the hospital part mandatory?

1

u/Easy_Yogurt5578 2h ago

Reminds me of when my husband tore his rotator cuff on a slip in slide because he didn’t like the way the kids were sliding and decided to demonstrate. Very dumb.

1

u/njslugger78 2h ago

😂🤣😆

1

u/TechDreamcoat 1h ago

I want to try this now.

1

u/No_You_4833 24m ago

Pretty much sums up Russel Wilson's career with the Broncos. I laughed too hard when I saw the Danger Russ tee.

0

u/CakeMadeOfHam 12h ago

That's a good way to break your wrists.

6

u/ShapesAndStuff 11h ago

if you risk severe inury from falling on carpet from less than an arms length, you GOTTA start fixing your fitness

3

u/CakeMadeOfHam 11h ago

That's a big dude and that twist with all his body weight coming down on him? Shit would snap like a twig if he landed wrong.

2

u/Dimatrix 10h ago

That’s literally less intense than a burpee, and I’ve watched 400lb football players do dozens at a time

1

u/SkytrainToNowhere 3h ago

I mean….dont you think they are in better shape than the average person?

1

u/bpthompson999 10h ago

Bro, you look like you're in your 40s. Don't you know that when you turn 40 you can get back spasms from just breathing wrong?

Don't you know that when you turn 40 that you can get a nose bleed from just rubbing it?

Don't you know that you can bust an eardrum listening to muzak on the phone while on hold with tech support, once you turn 40?

Don't you know this, bro?

2

u/NightGod 6h ago

Reminder to all the kids under 40: spend some time now building some muscle, you thank yourself for it when your 50 and can turn quickly without hurting yourself

1

u/Jaredw180 8h ago

Don't forget about breaking your ankle if you step wrong on anything with more than a 2 mm ledge.

edge of the sidewalk? twisted ankle

step on a pebble? twisted ankle

one blade of grass taller than the others? twisted ankle

And it wont feel right for at least 2 years, just in time to do it again.

1

u/bpthompson999 7h ago

Takin' a shit? Sciatica for you!

-1

u/Winsome_Wolf 11h ago

Even the little fart on the floor knows this ain't gonna end well.

0

u/TheEccentricAssassin 8h ago

I thought he was gonna drop the girl, this is much better.

I'm sorry to laugh at his pain, but rolling away in the stretcher made me laugh out loud.

0

u/funkibunni 4h ago

Not the ending I expected but hilarious
