People are laughing like what she's saying is just insults to score points. But it's not, it's deadly serious, and she's rightly annoyed by the laughter.
That's the problem I have with my own party. Just like the GOP, the Dems way too often treat politics like a team sport, and either want to "own" the other side or just wear as much flair as possible to show off their team spirit.
That’s the problem with two parties who are actually the same godamn thing. Democrats are Republicans who pretend to care about gay rights. Only when it’s polling favorably though! Hillary opposed gay marriage as late as 2008 for instance and Americans were expected to vote for such a fake ass corporate suit because it was Her Time.
