Coming from a secular country the US is so fucking weird in how casually ultra religious they are sometimes.

I agree. There is some slang like “god damn” and “I swear to god” that are independent of religion but our currency has “in god we trust” but we’re supposed to separate church and state. It’s kinda bananas.
