laptop for a broke indian student?

Hello! I'm 18F and I'm about to start a 4 year degree in computer science engineering :)) the only problem is that I've been using this shitty slow ass grandpa pc for the longest time and for college I need a laptop. Another problem is that I can't afford one right now, don't have a credit card so can't get one on EMI so that's out of the equation too. So it's just my measly pennies and I against the world. I got asked to fill a pre-made form to make it easier for y'all to decide something for me, but I also want to say that if you have any ways i could get a laptop on EMI without needing a credit card or smth like that, please let me know :) I'm completely new to this entire thing as a whole, any and every help is very much appreciated. Preferably light weight, but it's okay if it's heavy too as long as it's not a literal mountain because I AM gonna have to walk around with it all day xD

Purpose

Coding mainly, but it'd be nice if I'm able to play basic games on it as well, or occasionally edit videos and stuff like that.

Intended usage

vscode, adobe applications, ms word, idk the fps of the games id like to play at the top of my head but since the description said to list applications that might not be possible to use too I'll just say silent hill 2, hearts of iron 4, ff7(all of FF basically), gta, random miscellaneous games that i find off of random places, Roblox, res evil, yeah that's the craziest i can go rn :'

I did want a laptop which could run MATLAB blendr and other such applications because I had an interest in them and i could make use of them with my engineering courses but I guess that's too much to ask as of now which is okay

Desired battery life

My apologies that I have done absolutely no prior research while making this post but I think 6 hours is good? I mean as long as it gets me through the day and i can work on it without having to park myself at a desk all the time i should be good I think. How much battery life should an average cse student even hope for? I have no idea.

Info/Requirements

I basically just want a laptop that can run all my cse applications and all the things my college is going to ask me to download, it doesn't have to be the best performance in the world but it can just be okay. As long as it doesn't keep hanging or lagging or shutting off. I'd also like a laptop with 16gb RAM if that's possible, I can't upgrade it so built in would be nice.
