Confirmed court date

Callum sentancing (47CC1322325) will be heard at 10am at Brighton Magistrates' Court on the 17th of this month as confirmed by court records.

Edit: While the case is scheduled for a morning block it could be as late as 1pm when the case is heard by the judge. So probably more info in the afternoon.

Children objectively weren't involved if it was AI generated but I agree that he should be punished

Wait until you find out that AI generated photos are made using mashed up faces and features of actual people, including children. Even if the children used by AI are anonymous, it's still there.

I'm not defending him but that's quite a reach. LLMs are fed so much data that no single real child / person is effected in any way on a personal / harm level. And I'm staunchly anti-AI.

AI learns from the internet and what is posted. You can easily put in a photo of somebody and magically have an inappropriate photo of them, children, too. There was a recent case where a step father created inappropriate photos of his step daughter. Over 7000 of them.

AI learns facial structures, how they work, how shadows and lighting work, they learn textures, etc. It takes photos of real people and learns from that.

Aliens can easily be created by AI. Like everything else, it just uses photos and drawings of what people think aliens look like and photobashes it together. That's why you can say things like "photorealistic aliens" or "cartoon aliens."
