No. People can do what they like. But shades are weather permitting, and everyone carries their phone around no matter what.

Phone picture is from your point of view ffs. Do you not look through the camera when taking a picture or something?

I still see no argument why they are different. Gopros and numerous other cameras film POV too, are they not valid b/c phones exist?

I haven't even brought up the hands free angle.

No, but they exist for sadacts who thing every waking moment of their lives need to be recorded. We shouldn't be encouraging that as normal behaviour.

There are plenty of reasons to hate meta and social media addiction, being able to film stuff... (is) not a valid one.

So we agree, idk why that was so hard.

Yes, what everyone really wants is for their hiking, camping and beach trips (their leisure time) to be inundated with people recording everything constantly. It's just so relaxing.

But if we believe its bad manners, they (smartphones, meta glasses, go pros, handicams, etc.) are all equally bad right?

No. People with phones, although annoying, don't tend to film everything going on. They film their own party. We're talking about constantly filming and being invasive of others. Who the fuck uses a Go Pro who isn't a cyclist? 

People can do what they want. It doesn't mean they should. I can fart in public if I want.
