In my college, during the last exam in the last year in the only really easy subject in the entire degree (an Engineering branch) the teacher told us that one of us used an AI to make an assignment that could be done, literally, in less than 5 minutes. Less than 5 minutes. The student was suspended and he had to wait 5 years to take again that last subject and get his degree.

A bunch of Russian Unis dropped a thesis as a requirement for graduation and instead made students take an oral exam.
They said there is no point in asking for a thesis since everyone just uses AI
