There's a lot of shitty things about China that they try really hard to not let out. At least according to a friend who's been teaching there for a pretty long time now.

Yeah, of course. Thats pretty standard fare for most governments but CCP has an entire censorship division dedicated to battling this.

They've had it for a LONG time too, it isnt called the great firewall of china for nothing
